African Parks manages Bazaruto Archipelago National Park in partnership with Mozambique’s National Administration of Conservation Areas (ANAC). A non-profit conservation organisation, African Parks takes on responsibility for the rehabilitation and long-term management of protected areas in partnership with governments and local communities. It currently manages 23 national parks and protected areas in 13 countries. The National Administration for the Conservation Areas (ANAC) is responsible for the conservation of biodiversity and the sustainable development of Mozambique’s ecotourism.
